FREE Oral Cancer Screening Day

Santa Clara, CA (February 16, 2009) – On March 7, 2009, Dr. Jayne Hoffman will bring a healthy smile to the local community with a special one-day only Free Oral Cancer Screening event.  This is a full-day event providing free screenings for oral cancer and other diseases. Services will be rendered to adult patients by appointment only from 11:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, March 7th at the Mission City Dental Care office located at 1250 Scott Boulevard in Santa Clara.

Free Oral Cancer Screening Day has been a smashing success throughout the years, offering free screenings to those who can't otherwise access these services due to financial hardship or lack of insurance. Free Oral Cancer Screening Day is turning into a national movement, one that Mission City Dental Care is honored to be a part of.  This year they are holding their own Free Oral Cancer Screening event as a gesture of goodwill and appreciation to the community, and to educate individuals about the importance of good oral hygiene and care. 

Dr. Jayne Hoffman operates a traditional dental practice throughout the year.  During the March 7th event, Dr. Hoffman and her staff will volunteer their services, offering preventative screenings for oral cancer and other diseases to people in need, at no charge to them and by appointment only to serve them as thoroughly as possible.  Dr. Hoffman and her staff sincerely hope to make a difference in the lives of those who come to inquire about this important opportunity.

Dr. Jayne Hoffman and her team will do whatever they can during the Free Oral Cancer Screening daylong event to educate patients about adequate oral care and the symptoms to watch for if cancer is present. 

Free Oral Cancer Screening Day takes place just one day out of the year.  On the other days, Dr. Hoffman operates Mission City Dental Care, one of the most respected dental practices in the country.  Her office performs a full range of dental procedures, including sedation dentistry, cosmetic procedures, dental implants, and general dentistry for adults and children.
